Okay, so, on the day that we all tasted funny, before you had me lick kk, I was hanging around with ck a little. And we were sort of playing...flushed cluckbeasts. Like licking each other and trying to freak each other out.

And then I kissed him. And it was stupid.

[She stops, hand still holding his. And stares in his direction. And blinks.

And then, she bursts out laughing.]

[Twitch.]

Thanks, tz. That makes me feel a whole hell of a lot better.

[Give her a second, Sollux. She manages to stifle her laughter and gives his hand a squeeze.]

Jeeeeez, lighten up! Sooo, what did he do? Was he a good kisser?

[He is blushing and irritated now, scowling]

He didn't do anything.

[SHE SMELLS THAT BLUSH and steps forward, sniffing audibly.]

You didn't answer my second question!

[He leans away, for all the good that'll do.]

No, he's a terrible kisser. It turns out that was his first kiss, though he'll probably kneecap me for telling you that.

[CRACKING UP AGAIN. Oh god she cannot breathe right now.]

[Despite himself, he starts to grin, and slowly joins in the laughter, feeling a bit of relief at that]

[She grabs his other hand, tugging them both for emphasis.]

So! That was the second time you blushed, Sollux!

So what? It was stupid, I told you. I was just trying to get him to go away, and it didn't work.

[She smirks, leaning forward.]

You aren't flushed for him, are you?

No! [Argh, why does he keep blushing????] Don't you start, too. I'm not flushed for him. We're friends, in that weird human way, and that's all.

[She grins, sniffing loudly again.]

Sollux, you should know better than to lie to a talented legislacerator such as myself!

[He stiffens] I'm not lying. I... Argh! [He rubs his forehead with his free hand] I can't be flushed for him, tz. But we've been teasing each other and shit. And it doesn't matter, even if I were flushed, because he definitely doesn't see me the same way.

[He squirms] I made him kiss me again, and that was when I realized he really didn't know what he was doing. And he was all pissed, because I forced him into it. So I'm not going to go there, anymore. I don't want him to hate me, platonically or otherwise.

[Her smile fades and she considers this, biting her lip for a moment.]

Oh. How did you make him?

Not like that, fuck. I don't even have any powers, anymore. [He sighs] I was in his body and took pictures of him smiling. Then I was joking around and asked him what he'd do to convince me to delete them, and he said he'd do anything. So I told him to kiss me again.

[Defensively] I didn't know he had a problem with it... he's always talking about women, and flirting with me, and stuff. I thought it was no big deal.

Dave never backs down from a challenge, no matter how uncomfortable it makes him.

[She tilts her head, pausing thoughtfully.]

What did he say afterwards?

[Sollux thinks about that, trying to remember exactly how it had gone] He blamed it on being in an unfamiliar body, and said we were still fine, then he said some stuff about showing me how it was done once he was back in his own body. [Okay, his cheeks are warming again] Not that he really will. And then we got to talking about horns, and I showed him how that felt.

...Uh. [He frowns] I guess it does sound pretty flushed, like that. But I really think he's just being a coolkid and doesn't have feelings for me.

[She raises her eyebrows again. This sounds more complicated than she'd thought. She tugs him towards a rock on the side of the path.]

Let's sit for a second!

[Anything to put off having to go swimming! Sollux nods and lets her lead him towards the rock, feeling around until he finds it and taking a seat]

It's all pretty stupid and probably all in my head, tz. He's your moirail. And technically I was never supposed to tell you any of this! I promised him I wouldn't tell about his kissing technique being shitty.

[She giggles again as she sits down beside him.]

He's my moirail, but you're my friend, right? So! Tell me how you feel, Sollux. What would you do if he were flushed for you?

[He stiffens a little, and leans forward to rest his elbows on his knees] I don't know... Being flushed for a human is weird, isn't it? [He hesitates] Though I guess you're okay with being his moirail. And there's Vriska.

[He sighs] I guess I'd try it. I mean, who knows if it would go anywhere, but...I wouldn't mind giving it a try.

[She rests her arm on his back.]
