[Eridan turns it on, scowling to hide his nervousness.]

Come ovver to my hivve and wwhat? Fuckin' leavve again immediately?

[Oops, he figured him out. Sollux switches on his own video. He's sprawled on his stomach on his bed, his chin propped up on one hand and the other typing, but now he grins toothily at Eridan.]

You didn't thpethify. If you want to change the deal, now'th the time.

[Eridan fiddles with his scarf and then pulls it off. He's already not wearing his cape. He thought he needed it but he's been wearing it less ever since he died.]

Wwell wwe're in a fuckin' matin' quadrant, aren't wwe? And we'vve barely done anythin'.

[Sollux wouldn't call sucking Eridan's bulge barely doing anything, and he worries sometimes about what Karkat and Aradia said about Eridan going too fast and pushing him. He yellows, blushing.]

You want to fill a pail. Today?

[Eridan goes even more scowly now, because he's embarrassed.]

Wwhy, you'vve got somethin' against doin' that?

[Sollux is nearly as scowly, equally embarrassed.] No! I mean...we're only thikth, ed. I... [swallow] what'th the rush? You going thomewhere?

I'm alwways gonna fuckin' be only six. And maybe I'm stuck here but wwhat about you?

[Okay, he's got a slight point. Wow he hadn't thought of that. Sollux thinks for a second, then looks up.] Look. I can't promithe to go all the way, but I do promithe thloppy makeoutts after. Okay?

[There's a moment longer of Eridan eyeing Sollux, and then he nods.]

Fine, it's a deal.

[As if he'd refuse getting ANYTHING.

Okay, but, he suddenly realises: he has no idea what he's doing here. How does he make this work? Looks like it's time to bluster through this as per usual. He leaves the computer on its table, pushes the chair out of the way and walks back into the room to sit on the edge of the bed. Does he draw this out? Seriously, what's he DOING here? He grabs at the hem of his shirt and then lets his torso curve slightly as he pulls it up over his head.

What's instantly obvious is the fact that he clearly didn't bother past making sure his cuts didn't get infected, because Sollux's symbol is the newest, most visible scar on his stomach. There's other scarring across his stomach, of course, including one faint jagged line all the way across, continuing onto his sides (and around his back as well, obviously. Once he gets the shirt up to his chin, it's clear that there's a decent amount of old wounds across his chest as well.

He lifts the shirt carefully over his chin, but gets his glasses caught in it. Shit. Just go with it. He manages to at least get the shirt up and over his horns, and pretends that pulling off his glasses along with them was on purpose.]

[Sollux leans a little forward as Eridan starts to get ready and then pulls off his shirt. He's not quite prepared for his own reaction to seeing the cuts he made - still quite purple-looking against Eridan's skin. It looks good there, he thinks, even if the other scars sort of interfere with it. That one there is nasty... must be from when Kanaya killed him.

But those aren't sexy thoughts. He grins as Eridan gets himself caught and pulls off his glasses by accident]

Real thmooth, ed. [He says in a teasing tone] Now turn around. Let me thee your back.

[Giving him a heavy-lidded look of irritation, Eridan takes his time pulling the sleeves of his shirt over his arms above his head. There's scarring on his arms as well, and a huge amount of scarring along the undersides of his forearms, mostly teeth and bitemarks.

He manages to catch himself from asking what exactly is sexy or appealing about this because he doesn't want to draw more attention to it than he's sure there already is. He's an inch away from changing his mind about this whole stupid idea.

Instead, he crawls up onto his bed to face in the opposite direction, and then settles back on his haunches. Most of his back is just the remnants of clawmarks. He sits there for a moment and then rolls his shoulders and gives Sollux an incredulous look.]

Noww wwhat?

[Jegus fuck, why is he so scarred up? Sollux peers at him curiously. Every time he's ever gotten Eridan's shirt off before, it was really, really dark, so he hasn't seen the scars before. Eridan's obviously gotten into a lot of fights, but he can only think of one reason why his inner arms would be so messed up, and he tries not to think about it too much.

So far, Eridan's not wrong. It's not the most sexy thing he's ever seen, and he's feeling a little silly. The idea had been a lot sexier than the reality is turning out to be.

But then Eridan asks him what to do, and Sollux feels his interest rise a little more.]

Take off your pantth, obviouthly. [He tries to sound nonchalant, but he's blushing a bit] Do it nithe and thlow.

[He's got underwear on under his trousers today. One extra layer between him and Sollux. One less thing to panic about, here. Turning around to kneel on the bed, he unbuttons the button (slowly) and unzips them (slowly) and then hesitates, giving Sollux a sidelong look. Sollux is slightly blurry, but he can't put his glasses back on now. That would definitively prove his failure.

So he lets himself lie back onto the bed instead, propped up slightly on the nest reaching across most of the bed. He unfolds his legs out from underneath him in order to push his hips up so he can slip down his pants without undue wriggling. He's getting kind of hyperaware of Sollux watching him do this. Maybe he'll laugh. Not like he'd CARE but. Maybe he'll laugh.

Plus, pushing his hips up feels sexy to him. He lets them stay up for a while longer than necessary.

After he's got them down far enough, he pulls both of his knees up to him in order to pull his pants off his feet. At least he was walking about barefoot and he doesn't have to worry about shoes or socks.]

[Sollux watches with growing fascination, feeling his mouth go dry as Eridan squirms around on the bed. Okay, it's a little awkward, but the way those hips go up is sexy, and he doesn't wriggle too much. He just looks...

Really fucking good.

Sollux certainly doesn't think the scars are ugly. They're just another fascinating part of Eridan's body that he sort of wants to lick. That's really one of the frustrating parts of Eridan, actually - he can't help wanting to touch every part of it, no matter how fucking infuriating he is as a package.]

Yeah...really good. [His mouth is still dry, and he licks his lips nervously, trying not to rasp too badly. Eridan still has his underwear on, and he suddenly realizes that he wants to take that part off himself.]

Okay, uh. I'm coming over now, I think. Thtay right there.

[Oh. What? Oh. Eridan rests his chin on his chest to eye his screen. He wishes he could focus enough to see what he looks like, but Sollux's voice sounds kind of raw. Which is good, right? Yeah. He's awesome at this, clearly.]

Wwhat, wwithout movvin'?

[Sollux smirks] Did I tell you you're allowed to move? Then obviouthly you should thtay thtill like a good troll.

[And he switches off his husktop before Eridan can object. He pauses, takes a moment to freak out for a few moments, then walks as normally as he can manage to Eridan's hive and walks in without knocking.

He looks around, wondering if Eridan obeyed his orders, and trying not to show how nervous he is.]

[Haha, no, fuck that. He gets up and flips down the screen of his husktop, feeling a bit odd walking around in just his underwear. Then he picks up his discarded clothes, folds them, and puts them on the chair in his respite block. Pondering how much time he has, he decides against going to sit anywhere else. He'll stay in here, he supposes. Climbing back onto the bed, he leans, a tad posed, against his nest, elbow resting along it, feet and thighs tucked under his body. Yeah. He's got this.]

[Yeah, Sollux can see the signs that Eridan disobeyed him, and he scowls at the neatly-folded clothing and the artful way Eridan's arranged himself. He liked it better when Eridan was looking nervous.]

Fuckathh.

Wwhat?! [Scowl. Eridan scoots to sit on the edge of the bed again.]

You didn't honestly expect me to stay exactly wwhere you last saww me.

That'th ekthactly what I told you to do, tho yeah. I wath like a minute getting here. Topth. You couldn't be good for that long?

[Not that he really, seriously expected Eridan to follow his commands. But he can dream.

He stalks towards the sea dweller and reaches for him, intending to push him back down onto the bed]
